PaleyFest Event Contest Rules & Regulations

Contest void where prohibited by law. Contest begins at 12:00AM EST, March 9, 2018, and all entries must be received by 12:00AM EST, March 14, 2018. The winner will be selected on March 14, 2018. All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The grand prize winner will receive one pair of tickets to The Handmaid’s Tale event at PaleyFest 2018 at 2pm on March 18th at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA and a code that can be redeemed for 3 Free Months of HULU.

Grand prize winner will be chosen at random from the all entries received. The winners of the HULU codes will be chosen at randomg all entries received.  Winner will be notified by March 15, 2018 via email. By participating, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions.


Grand Prize Winner
– 2 tickets to The Handmaid’s Tale event being held March 18th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA and one code that can be redeemed for 3 free months of HULU.

Winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes on prize, as well as any and all expenses relative to participation in the Contest (including acceptance of prize) not specified herein. Winner is responsible for own travel and all expenses relative to the travel to and from the event. Tickets will be held at Will Call under the winners name at the Dolby Theatre Box Office.

In order to pick up your tickets, you may be required to present:

Your valid state (if a resident of the United States) or government issued (if a resident of Canada or other country) photo ID, driver’s license or passport. A valid ID must be duly issued by a government agency and include a photo and a signature.

The box office will not release tickets if the name on the ID does not match the name provided by the winner to hold the tickets or if the photo on the ID does not appear to be the photo of the person retrieving the tickets. To find out what other types of photo ID are acceptable at the venue’s Will Call, please contact the venue directly.

If you decide to pick up your tickets at will call before the day of the event (and the venue allows you to do so), you may not be able to do so until more than 2 business days after you have ordered them. For example, if a ticket is purchased on Saturday (i.e., not a business day) the ticket cannot be picked up until the following Wednesday. This restriction does not apply if the event is occurring during that time.

Box office rules and hours vary. Some may not be open until an hour prior to event time, while others may be open during regular business hours every day. Some buildings advise patrons to arrive very early to pick up tickets to avoid long lines. In the United States, most venues will not let you pick up your tickets from will call until the day of the event. 

HULU Codes:
Nine codes for three free months of HULU will be given away during the time when registration is open to nine random entries. The code is good with a three month – no ad plan (+Showtime). Through the redemption process you may be prompted to select either the $7.99 or $11.99 option. 

Go ahead and select the $11.99 option and note that you will never be prompted for payment.
This code can be used on your existing account or a new account if you do not
currently have one.

Grand Prize Winner will be notified by email and must respond within 48 hours notification or be disqualified. HULU code winners will be notified by email and must respond withing 30 days or be disqualified.

Submission of an entry constitutes the irrevocable grant to of all rights in the entry, all rights to publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such entry in any way and in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration or acknowledgment to the entrant and the unconditional right to use the photograph and statements about the promotion for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Terms; or (b) award the prize from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By entering, participants release from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the contest or the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
